Hey bloggers! My name is Shannon. Here are a few things about me to get this blog started. First off, I'm a communications major hoping to get a degree in Public Relations. I really enjoy writing and speaking to people. I used to be in the drama club at Newfane High School, and I participated in six school musicals during my middle school and high school career. When I have free time, I usually spend it sleeping, doing some creative writing, or being a sci-fi/fantasy geek. I'm a huge fan of the Tolkien universe, and I also enjoy Star Wars and Marvel/DC movies. I needed to add a picture for this blog, so here's a picture of Batman:

Aaaaaaanyway, the next thing to talk about is what inspires me. Well, my family and friends inspire me to be the best person I can be. I enjoy creative writing, so there are times when a song or something someone says gives me an idea and inspires my writing. In acting, my past experiences often inspire me, as well as the performances of some of my favorite actors and actresses. Music heavily inspires me. Whether it inspires a new piece of creative writing or it inspires me to feel a certain way or think about something from a different perspective, music is constantly influencing me. So yeah, those things are what inspire me.
